Short version
Your session entries are saved in this browser with localStorage. They are not uploaded to Magpie Studios, not stored in a Magpie account, and not held in a medical records database.
If you clear site data, use private browsing, switch browsers, or change devices, those local entries may disappear. Export CSV or PDF when you want a copy.
What the tracker stores locally
The tracker may save the session date, body area, device name, wavelength, duration, distance, before/after comfort scores, notes, language preference, and analytics consent choice. Those tracker entries stay on the device and browser where you entered them.
What Magpie does not collect from the tracker
Magpie Studios does not receive your saved session entries, notes, comfort scores, exported CSV files, or PDF reports through the tracker. There is no tracker account system and no server-side session log for this MVP.
Health data and HIPAA
Red Light Therapy Tracker is not a healthcare provider, health plan, clearinghouse, EHR, patient portal, or HIPAA-regulated medical records system. It is a personal logging tool for your own use.
Do not use this tracker as the official record for clinical care, emergency care, insurance, employment accommodation, or any workflow that requires a HIPAA-compliant system. Do not enter sensitive medical details you would not want stored on your own device.
Chat and support messages
The tracker assistant can help with logging, export, privacy, timer use, and general tracker questions. If you type into the assistant or email support, the content you send may be processed by Magpie Studios or its service providers so we can respond.
Do not put sensitive medical details, diagnoses, insurance information, Social Security numbers, or other private records into chat or support messages.
Analytics and affiliate links
Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics. It is used to count aggregate visits and improve the page. It is not used to read your saved tracker entries.
NovaaLab links are affiliate links. If you click them, Awin, NovaaLab, and related providers may process click, referral, and purchase attribution data under their own policies. Magpie Studios LLC may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Your controls
- Use Export CSV or PDF report to keep your own copy.
- Use Clear in the tracker to remove saved sessions from this browser.
- Use your browser settings to remove site data for this page.
- Use Decline in the cookie banner if you do not want Google Analytics enabled.
