In-engine gameplay prototype
Live footage captured directly from the current Unreal Engine 5 build — not pre-rendered. Pre-alpha: characters, animation, and effects are placeholder and in active development.
A third-person shinobi action game prototype from Magpie Studios, built in Unreal Engine 5 and focused on combat feel, movement, ninja tools, and a moonlit feudal-Japan fantasy.
Two videos: live gameplay captured in-engine from the current build, and a pre-rendered concept trailer that sets the tone and world.

Pre-rendered concept trailer and mood piece — not gameplay. A visualization of the world and tone we're building toward.
All footage is pre-alpha — final visuals will differ as development continues.
Ninjutsu follows a lone shinobi, Kage Ren, as he grows from a grounded fighter into a near-mythic force. The current prototype is deliberately narrow: prove the combat, movement, visual identity, and slice atmosphere before expanding scope.
These are concept and mood references for Kage Ren, the shrine world, and the trailer look. They are not final gameplay screenshots unless explicitly labeled as in-engine.
This page is meant to track public-facing progress without overstating the state of the game.
Concept trailer material is labeled as concept. Gameplay shown is real, in-engine Unreal Engine 5 capture.
Ninjutsu is a Magpie Studios property. The combat and visual goals are inspired by action-game craft, not copied characters or assets.
The current target is a focused vertical slice: combat, presentation, environment, and a strong trailer-ready identity.
